The cost of sponsoring a student is $195 per year or $65 per trimester. We also offer partial sponsorship for $100 per year or $35 per trimester.
You can pay by check or online by credit card through PayPal.
To make your contribution online, select a donation option on the Become a Sponsor
page and click the corresponding donate button. You don't need to have a PayPal account and your information is secure.

Your sponsorship is completely voluntary and you may stop at any time.
100% percent of all funds received for student sponsorships are transferred directly to our local partner organization, FDNC.
The money is used to pay tuition and to provide the student with a starter kit of tools, housing (if needed), meals, school supplies,
a uniform, medical care and counseling.
FDNC selects youth based on the criteria of impoverished status, motivation, and likelihood to successfully complete the vocational program.
Yes! As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to establish a direct connection with a Ugandan student and learn first hand about life in rural Uganda. Sign up to be matched with a scholarship student who will be eager to correspond with you. Dialogues between Ugandans and Americans is always exciting and rewarding for both parties.

Yes! There is no limit to the number of students a person may sponsor.
To better serve the needs of the students and maximize the efficiency and flexibility of the program, sponsors are no longer matched with specific students. As a sponsor, you will receive regular updates about students and the school including photos and profiles of the scholarship students and graduates. If you sign up to correspond with a student, we will connect you with a scholarship student who will be eager to communicate with you.
