Thanks to the generosity of over 40 donors, this summer's
mosquito net drive surpassed its goal, raising nearly $2,000! When HUGS Co-President Sally Shapiro traveled to Uganda in August she was able to purchase bed nets
for every student at the FDNC Vocational School, as well as provide FDNC with nets for all the beds in the school's hostel. The campaign was such a success that
we were also able to provide funds to the Special Needs Center for the construction of a latrine, give four graduating tailoring students their own sewing machines,
and provide supplies to each of the Vocational School departments. Many, many thanks to all of you who contributed to this campaign!
